The Friction testers of BGS Strate Wasserhochdruck GmbH
In Europe, we use a Saab friction tester supplied by Sarsys to carry out friction measurements. Customers in the Middle East have a Skoda Octavia friction tester supplied by ASFT at their disposal. Our operating staff receives professional training from the manufacturers at regular intervals.
The measuring vehicle
The vehicle we use for friction measurements travels the runway at 95 km/h. It operates in accordance with the ICAO method (International Civil Aviation Organization). Our vehicle has the registration number 846.
